I have been taking bobbin lace lessons for a while now and this is my latest project. It is by far the most difficult to do although the weaving of the bobbins is very simple. I just keep losing my place and have to wait for the next week for my instructor to help me out. Her name is Ingrid and is very wonderful to work with. She is from Belgium so I am getting the lessons from the right person. We met through Church and hit it off almost instantly. She is very crafty with needle work. She can do anything in the realm of thread and material. She made the pillow for my bobbin lace. I will send another picture once the project is finished. I have done some string lace as well. It is very pretty and not difficult to do at all. Just another project for me to do while I keep procrastinating not to do my housework......and while Don is watching football this fall.
